Birdbrain - Audio Podcast
Birdbrain is a 10-part series of audio podcasts produced for ABC Brisbane. The central character Steve is having a mid-life crisis. He wants something new in his life, but he hates change and lacks motivation. It draws inspiration from mockumentaries such as Best in Show.
Steve is voiced by Australian comedian and poet, Steve Abbott, who is better known for his character Sandman. Expect dry, unusual and eccentric comedy!

Steve is a middle aged man who feels his best years are over. He thinks a hobby may ignite some sort of passion in his less than satisfactory life. He chooses bird watching because several years ago he did extensive research for a failed TV project on bird watching.
